This course will be an introduction to financial statement analysis.  It will include: Balance Sheet structure; profit and loss statements; basic ratio analysis and industry analysis.  Participants will learn the definition of the basic financial statement types and the importance of this initial building block of understanding the financial condition of the “customer”.

Who will benefit from this program:  Loan assistants, new loan officers, credit analysts, and loan review members.  This course would benefit mostly those who have little experience in the area of financial statement analysis, but show an aptitude and potential to become a credit analyst or loan officer.

• Determine how the customer has done financially compared to its peers.
• Understand how management decisions impact the company’s financial statements.
